Ever since turning 18 (in 1990) I have gone to MY POLLING PLACE TO VOTE! In that same year I proudly registered as a Republican, having grown up with Roosevelt, Regan & Goldwater as inspiration - mostly THANKS to my deep Prescott roots!
1.) I want to put MY BALLOT in the box in THE POLLING PLACE on election day
2.) I want to see my neighbors and feel like I'm participating (plus I like people :)
3.) NO THANK YOU! I am not sending my ballot with the USPS!!

Firstly, Honorable J. Mitchell Padilla, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE to the Prescott Justice Court! I PROMISE that I will bring BACK and EXPAND the excellent service to US Veterans that you worked so hard to institute!
FOUR (or FIVE) STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT!!
1.) CARTOON, Doug Suits ERASED his "professional" Facebook account hoping to censor his past CRAZY antics. In service to this community #DougSuits never marketed his professional services with reverence to his profession or in any way that would bring a high level of regard to the legal profession. 2.) COMPLICIT, Doug Suits may have been long asleep at the wheel: AS A LAWYER and long-time DIRECTOR of a local non-profit when he/the board hired a convicted felon and thief as his/their executive director then failed to notice a seven-year, non-sophisticated $826,000.00 embezzlement scheme. Serving AS ITS DIRECTOR, Doug Suits has a legal DUTY of care, a DUTY of loyalty and a DUTY of obedience to the public and the donors. No background check and NOT ONE AUDIT in almost a decade??
3.) CHARLATAN, Doug Suits falsely pretends to be a REPUBLICAN and has deceived THE PEOPLE for money, power or fame. In JANUARY 2025, he changed his entire political ethos and affiliation from democrat / independent, then 8 months later convinced the ENTIRE BOS that he was A CONSERVATIVE when they selected a replacement justice of the peace who had to be of the same political party as the Honorable J. Mitchell Padilla. The tyranny of an unopposed candidate in YOUR COURT entirely circumvents any semblance of democracy.
4.) CENSORED/CONTEMPTABLE... does that count as ONE strike or TWO? ONE ONE-STAR SUITS: now, Google INFORMS that while IN SERVICE TO MY COMMUNITY, as an attorney, Doug Suits garnered ONE AVVO REVIEW, of ONE STAR but it has been removed from that platform because of his judicial assignment! ALSO, BBB of AZ does not even recognize Suits Law or his Phone Number??
ADDITIONALLY, it is observed and readily available to discover that he has a permanent State Bar of Arizona record! In 2014 he was, "DISCIPLINED BY A STATE LICENSING AUTHORITY, "Probation means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior."

I spent my formative years HERE - this community was safe, kind, welcoming and so full of love... Between 1st grade & 9th, Prescott was my home: my Maternal Grandparents came to Prescott in the late 60's and then in 1977 Mom, Dad, Sister and I moved up here too. I proudly attended Washington, Miller Valley, Lincoln Elementary and Prescott Junior High before returning to Phoenix for high school.
In Phoenix I studied, worked, lived and now I am the Proud Father of two boys (16 & 19). For 19 years, those boys have been the whole and very reason for my being and the entirety of my life (and my best work so far :)
I spent my years,18 - 24, managing various Harkin's Theatres locations, they had only seven houses in Phoenix & Scottsdale back then. Being so young with the ultimate responsibility for theatre safety and operations taught me strict accountability, adaptability, showmanship, Arizona Employment Law and how best to effectively manage a staff of over two hundred. BETWEEN the ages of 24 - 50 I was a salesman / industrial estimator and project manager working for various security and fencing contractors in the valley and serving statewide. My work included federal, state, school and municipal procurements; takeoffs, bidding, specifying and value engineering; and I had the ultimate project responsibility for positive outcomes managing the most complex, sensitive and often public-safety / mission-critical projects. I then learned contracting, and subcontract review specifically focused on Arizona Contract Law (to protect my companies AND the clients' interests). I LOVE LOCAL BUSINESSES and I was ALWAYS an advocate for my customers and successfully managed projects in excess of $1M
ALL ALONG and for many years I lived in apartments and houses as a renter... THEN I taught myself ARIZONA LANDLORD-TENANT LAW. I reviewed each and every lease agreement and was often told by landlords that I was the only one who ever requested contract-modifications (to protect myself and to align with state law)! When I bought my house, it took 5 HOURS to close & sign... every clause has actual and real-world implications; that realtor advised that it was her, "longest signing ever". I have since then advised property owners in evictions, proper assessor classification and in privilege tax compliance.
I became self-taught in governmental POLICY and PROCEDURE, learned all the adopted BUILDING and ZONING codes and LOVE HELPING so I founded Permits Made Easy in 1998. A sole proprietorship that I ran off-and-on, serving statewide and I actually love city-hall (weird, huh!). Since 2000, I have been completely on my own! As a mostly commercial consultant, I manage development matters and also provide architectural plan-design and municipal plan review, permit guidance and expediting and I ALWAYS vociferously advocate for my clients. With Permits Made Easy, I have long managed my own schedule, and I am so damn lucky that my work allows me to be with my boys - every day!
